Damage Repair

Did you know there is a right time to repair damaged trees? 

Spring is the time for damage repair!  

Throughout the fall and winter months trees can suffer damage from storms or mechanical circumstances. 

From early spring through early summer trees are in the growth stage, working diligently to put on a new layer of tissue and expand the crown. During this process, nutrients are flowing through the tree’s circulatory system to mend wounds. This makes damage repair much more effective and efficient for the tree during this period.  

Whether it's removing a broken branch or binding a split trunk, trees are more capable of successfully completing repairs in the spring!
